Fantastic location, on a very quiet street. We were in room 353, and quite enjoyed seeing a cat looking at us each morning from the opposite apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean. Room was functional and comfortable. Breakfast was a simple selection of breads, pastries, ham & cheese with freshly cooked pancakes and french toast, also fruit and yoghurts. On our last day one of the breakfast staff brought in homemade tiramisu and blueberry cheesecake. DELICIOUS! The choice on offer was absolutely ample for us. Quite a small breakfast dining area, but when we visited (21st -25th Sept 2023) we had no trouble finding a table (although you can book a table). All the staff were very helpful, we felt so welcomed and really appreciate the kindness the staff extended towards us. Thank you to all the staff. Amsterdam is a beautiful city, I can imagine in the height of summer or Christmas it must be very crowded. It's a city dotted with lots of cosy bars and restaurants filled with laughter, which was a beautiful sound to soak up as we strolled along the canals, both day and night. So refreshing to see so few cars. Great transport links, but everything was in walking distance from the hotel. I can't believe it's been 26 years since I last visited Amsterdam. Definitely won't leave it that long to visit again.

We had a short stay at this hotel. We arrived at the start of November so it wasn't too cold but all the Christmas lights were up which made for a great walk at night. The staff were excellent and helpful. Gave us some useful tips on how to go about Amsterdam. Comfortable bed in a large room. Just outside the centre of Amsterdam which is perfect for me and my partner. Literally 5 minutes in the centre , maybe less than that. Great little hotel. Thanks for having us. Tip for anyone looking to this hotel. There's a tram line that stops a minute walk from the hotel. And you're talking like €1 to hope on and off so.

The location might be not in the very center of events, but this might also be a plus, if you want to spend your nights in quiet. Still in the touristic center - 15-20 minutes walk to most attractions. Elevator in the building (which seems to be a problem in many places in center) Staff on reception is very welcoming and ready to give you recommendations on where to go and hang out. The room we got was spacious, even had a garderobe like area, with normal hangers (!!!) and enough to put away your suitcase. Coffee machine in the room))) Good room service

Great Boutique Hotel, located in quieter section of Amsterdam. Easily accessed by bus from Schipol Airport, and avoids need to go to Central station. Excellent directions provided by Hotel. Staff at Hotel, extremely accomodating, allowing us earlier check-in to our rooms after overnight flight. Breakfast was excellent, offering wide selection of fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, coffee, juices, cereals. Walking distance to number of restaurants, Ann Frank Museum and buses to Central Station, museums. Rooms were clean and facilities functional.

Everything else. Host knows the city well and able to give us great pointers. Very small rooms but this is Amsterdam and unless you're Rockerfeller that's what you're going to get. Amsterdam the city is one of our favourite destinations ever. Especially during the summer break it has such a great vibe and just feels like the sort of place you could hang out in forever. We've travelled to Europe on many occasions and this one shocked us a little on how things have turned in many places. Netherlands was a welcome exception to that.
